IN A NUTSHELL
PERFECTION
This book was EVERYTHING!!!!! I flew through this book because there were no slow parts. I just cannot get over how everything came together. There were the famous twist and turns that SJM gives us that come out of left field, but there were so many answers to the mysteries that we all have been wondering. Oh and this woman is such a master mind in the romance department that I refuse to have anymore ships. SJM makes me flip flop on ships and that NEVER EVER EVER happens. Overall this book was freaking fantastic, mind blowing, and I am a hot mess trying to explain how amazing it is. I loved everything about this book. It had no flaws in my eyes.

"The queen has returned.

Everyone Celaena Sardothien loves has been taken from her. But she’s at last returned to the empire—for vengeance, to rescue her once-glorious kingdom, and to confront the shadows of her past…

She has embraced her identity as Aelin Galathynius, Queen of Terrasen. But before she can reclaim her throne, she must fight.

She will fight for her cousin, a warrior prepared to die for her. She will fight for her friend, a young man trapped in an unspeakable prison. And she will fight for her people, enslaved to a brutal king and awaiting their lost queen’s triumphant return.

The fourth volume in the New York Times bestselling series continues Celaena’s epic journey and builds to a passionate, agonizing crescendo that might just shatter her world.

This book gave me life!

I feel like the last book was great (obviously) but it left me confused and I had so many questions that needed to be answered. My husband and I would come up with all these crackpot theories trying to figure out all the mysteries just to pass the time while we waited for Queen of Shadows to come out. While that was fun, we were off......so far off...it was embarrassing. I just wish I could be half as witty as SJM. There were so many mysterious that were resolved in this book, and it was great to read! I LOVED how I did not see any of it coming. I really do not want to get into it too much because it can get into the spoiler sections fast. Basically all you  need to know is, this book was fantastic, your questions about pretty much everything gets answered, and yes that includes who Celaena picks to be with. New characters are introduced, and Cleaena kicks ass and takes names just like you would expect her to. The first book will always hold a special place in my heart because it is what started my love for the series, but this book is probably my favorite so far! I promise you if you are a fan of this series you will not be disappointed. Also if you are someone who has not started this series, and you are reading this post anyway, (lets be honest, we all have read reviews of multiple books in a series we have not started just to make the series doesn't go down hill and waste our time) you need to start this series now. It will become one of your favorite series I can pretty much promise you that!
So tell me your thoughts on this book. Were you blown away by the twist and turns this book took? Did you fangirl as hard as I did? Let me know your thoughts down below!
Happy Reading Y'all,
Ashley

Back to School: Percy Jackson Style

As any fangirl or fanboy wherever you go you want to show your love of books. Being lovers of books we are a unique kind. We crush over fictional characters, they become our best friends, when they hurt we hurt. Books are our escape, our passion, our fun, hobby, friend, books are our lives. Pride comes with being a book nerd and it's something you should embrace. These books we love sometimes take over. We love them so much we want to be a part of that world. I wanted to help find ways for you to always feel close to your favorite books and characters. This week I wanted to do Percy Jackson because I mean who doesn't like Percy Jackson?! These outfits are loosely inspired by some of the loved characters from The Percy Jackson series or the book covers. I stayed on pinterest for hours (shocker right?) to find outfits that have simple pieces that you can find in your closet or wouldn't be hard to find for a good price at stores. I also wanted to find outfits that could easil

Review: Becoming Alpha by Aileen Erin

Title: Becoming Alpha  Author: Aileen Erin  Genre: Paranormal Fantasy  Pages: 267 Goodreads Overall Rating: 4.11 Published:  December 17th, 2013 by Ink Monster, LLC   My Rating:  I can’t do that. I can’t turn my emotions off and on like that. I’m either all in or all out. And if you can’t do that—if I don’t come first, then for God’s sake, leave me alone. Becoming Alpha is the true definition of YA paranormal fantasy and I devoured it. Erin took troupes that are known in YA and ran with them in fun, plausible, and exciting ways while taking her own spin on them. I sped through this book and right after I downloaded the next book in the series because I couldn't wait for the two-day shipping of the physical book.  At the beginning of the book, we meet our main character Tessa and her family. Tessa has an unusual gift and it has marked her as the odd girl out at and causing her to feel isolated. With her family wanting to give her a sense o
