Books to Fight the Stress of Finals/Work

So next two weeks will be the most stressful weeks for college students. This week is the prep week, and next week is hell finals week. I know that most of us wont have time for reading, but the only way I can unwind is to read at night or my mind will wonder over the formulas I need to know for my final or I will try to figure out exactly what I need to make on the final just to make a C because I will be thinking the worse. Anyone else like that out there?

READ THIS BOOK IF YOU WANT:
A BOOK THAT YOU WILL LOVE. YOU CANT NOT LIKE THIS BOOK

A FINISHED SERIES
I read this book when it first came out and I HAVE to re-read it because I loved it!  (fyi this is the old cover and the one I prefer.) I will admit I read this book knowing NOTHING about it. I saw the cover grabbed it and just started reading it. I highly recommend going into it blind like I did. If you choose to do that then PLEASE DONT READ ANY FARTHER!!!!!!!! Our main character Kami is a writer she wants to let everyone know the big stories, and she will do anything to get her story. Oh and she has a imaginary friend that she speaks to in her mind, and he speaks back. She can feel what he feels, he can feel what she feels. However at school one day she walks in to school and hears AND sees her imaginary friend. After that everything changes. I FREAKING LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!! If you want a strong character who is a hard worker (which may help you work hard to meet your goals with school) a great mystery because that is exactly what this book is. A character who makes you laugh your butt off then Kami is your gal!

READ THIS BOOK IF YOU WANT:
IF YOU WANT A BOOK THAT PUTS YOU IN SUCH LIGHT SPIRITS YOU CAN RELAX A LITTLE BIT EASIER
FUN
LITTLE ACTION
IF YOU LIKE THE BACHELOR
EASY QUICK READ
I KNOW AT LEAST THREE BOOKS ARE OUT. Is there going to be more?
I enjoyed the series because it was a light cute read, and just enough action to get me excited. I think most people know about this book unlike Unspoken so I want say too much about this one. The description on goodreads does a great job which if you click on the title it will take you to it. I honestly think there is two words that can best describe this book: The Bachelor.

READ THIS BOOK IF YOU LIKE:
A BOOK SO INTENSE IT MAKES YOU FORGET YOU EVEN HAVE FINALS
ACTION LOTS OF ACTION

A FINISHED SERIES
This book was fast past from the start, and I couldn't put it down. Not only did I enjoy it but my picky husband did too! Marie Lu is such a fantastic writer and she is NOT afraid to play with you emotions. She is NOT a predictable writer I never knew what loop she was going to take me through next. This is a intense book, but a quick read BECAUSE it is so mind blowing crazy you cant put it down you HAVE to know what happens. I honestly felt like I couldn't breathe till I finished this book because it was so intense.

READ THIS IF YOU LIKE:
GIRLY BOOKS
LOTS OF ACTION
COMEDY
BOOKS BASED IN THE SOUTH!!!
This book was freaking fantastic! I loved how it was extremely girly, but action packed as well. Our main character is a southern belle that does everything right, but something happens that changes her life forever, and our little southern belle is turning into something else. That is all I am going to say because it is a great book to go into blind don't even read the description on goodreads! Just trust me and read this book.

Let me know if you guys pick any of these books to help you through a tough week. If you guys like this post then PLEASE let me know by commenting. I go by comments. If a post has multiple people liking it and asking for more like that post then that is what I do. I can do another one next week with different type of book/recommendations if you would like. =)

Book Review: To All The Boys I Loved Before (Reread)

To All The Boys I've Loved Before  Series: To All The Boys I've Loved Before #1  Author: Jenny Han Published: April 15th, 2014 by Simon & Schuster  Pages: 355 My Rating:  ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ But now that I think about it, that seems to be all I’ve ever wanted. To be somebody’s and for them to be mine.   Even if she doesn't know the last one, Lara Jean is a hopeless romantic, shy, quirky, and strong-willed. When Lara Jean loves someone, she doesn’t tell them but writes them a love letter. It’s easier to play it safe, to let her feelings pour out onto paper. She holds nothing back; why should she? No one will ever see the letters. She stows them away in the safety of her beloved hatbox.     Lara Jean has written five love letters in her life. The letters range from the boy who stole her first kiss to her sister’s ex-boyfriend.   Lara Jean’s love letters are missing. They are no longer in the safety of her hatbox; they’ve been sent out.   Now Lara Jean is forced to face her bigges

Back to School: Percy Jackson Style

As any fangirl or fanboy wherever you go you want to show your love of books. Being lovers of books we are a unique kind. We crush over fictional characters, they become our best friends, when they hurt we hurt. Books are our escape, our passion, our fun, hobby, friend, books are our lives. Pride comes with being a book nerd and it's something you should embrace. These books we love sometimes take over. We love them so much we want to be a part of that world. I wanted to help find ways for you to always feel close to your favorite books and characters. This week I wanted to do Percy Jackson because I mean who doesn't like Percy Jackson?! These outfits are loosely inspired by some of the loved characters from The Percy Jackson series or the book covers. I stayed on pinterest for hours (shocker right?) to find outfits that have simple pieces that you can find in your closet or wouldn't be hard to find for a good price at stores. I also wanted to find outfits that could easil

Review: Becoming Alpha by Aileen Erin

Title: Becoming Alpha  Author: Aileen Erin  Genre: Paranormal Fantasy  Pages: 267 Goodreads Overall Rating: 4.11 Published:  December 17th, 2013 by Ink Monster, LLC   My Rating:  I can’t do that. I can’t turn my emotions off and on like that. I’m either all in or all out. And if you can’t do that—if I don’t come first, then for God’s sake, leave me alone. Becoming Alpha is the true definition of YA paranormal fantasy and I devoured it. Erin took troupes that are known in YA and ran with them in fun, plausible, and exciting ways while taking her own spin on them. I sped through this book and right after I downloaded the next book in the series because I couldn't wait for the two-day shipping of the physical book.  At the beginning of the book, we meet our main character Tessa and her family. Tessa has an unusual gift and it has marked her as the odd girl out at and causing her to feel isolated. With her family wanting to give her a sense o
